Audit notices required by Regulations

Certification and approval of annual accounts for 2019-20
Regulation 15(1) of the Accounts and Audit (Wales) Regulations 2014 (as amended) requires that Responsible Financial Officer of Llancarfan Community Council sign and date the statement of accounts, and certify that it presents fairly the financial position of Llancarfan Community Council at the end of the year and the Council’s income and expenditure for the year. The Regulations required that this be completed by 30 June 2020.

The statement of accounts will be prepared and the Responsible Financial Officer will sign and certify the statement of accounts when the immediate pressures of the COVID-19 outbreak have subsided.

UPDATE: The Responsible Financial Officer signed and certified the accounts on 7th July 2020.

Regulation 15(2) of the Accounts and Audit (Wales) Regulations 2014 (as amended) requires that following the certification by the Responsible Financial Officer referred to above, the Council must approve the accounts. The Regulations require that this be completed by 30 June 2020.

Due to the COVIC-19 outbreak, Llancarfan Community Council has not met to approve the accounts.
